Dual-Language Pipeline: Now Supporting Spanish and English Language Processing

We’re excited to share that Dual-Language Processing is live now for all customers! While some of our customers have already been utilizing this feature, Lyssn now supports both English and Spanish in one seamless experience for our all of our users! Here’s what you need to know:

Lyssn has the ability to identify a session with both English and Spanish mixed together, and is able to process the two simultaneously. 

Our new dual-language pipeline has been trained on both English and Spanish data specific to MI, providing reliable insights for sessions conducted in either language.

If a session contains more than 25% Spanish content, the language model will automatically activate. 

However, please note that this model currently supports only a subset of metrics—specifically those related to motivational interviewing, topics, and highpoints—while metrics like CBT codes will not be generated. A banner will appear within the report view of the platform to notify users when the multilingual model is in use and explain any changes in available metrics. We look forward to expanding our language capabilities in the future to better serve our diverse user base!

¡Estamos entusiasmados de anunciar el lanzamiento de nuestro sistema de procesamiento bilingüe en nuestra plataforma! Lyssn ahora tiene la capacidad de identificar sesiones que mezclan ambos inglés y español, y puede procesar ambos idiomas simultáneamente.

Nuestro nuevo canal bilingüe ha sido entrenado con modelos en inglés y español específicos a la Entrevista Motivacional (EM), resultando en información confiable para sesiones en cualquiera de los dos idiomas.

Si una sesión contiene más de un 25% de contenido en español, el modelo bilingüe se activará automáticamente.

Sin embargo, favor de tener en cuenta que este modelo actualmente genera solamente  una parte de los métricos-, específicamente los métricos relacionados con la entrevista motivacional, los temas, y los “high points”- mientras que no se generarán métricos como los códigos de la TCC (CBT). Se aparecerá un anuncio en la vista del informe en la plataforma para notificar a los usuarios cuando el modelo bilingüe esté en uso y para explicar cualquier cambio en los métricos que están disponibles. ¡Seguiremos ampliando nuestras capacidades lingüísticas para poder así atender mejor a nuestra diversa base de usuarios en el futuro!
