Equipping your staff with the tools they need to provide high-quality, evidence-based services to children and families.

Supported with more impactful and efficient staff development, child welfare service providers are able to facilitate continuous improvement while freeing up more time for engaging in impactful conversations with families that drive meaningful outcomes.

Leveraging AI to scale development and improve quality monitoring so you can focus on what matters most.

Lyssn was founded by clinical research psychologists and behavioral health-focused data scientists. We exist to transform how child welfare agencies implement and evaluate fidelity to evidence-based practices, efficiently train their staff on critical skills, and close competency gaps.

Our learn & practice, quality improvement, and documentation tools leverage powerful AI to produce data that matters. Agencies can use the data to understand the level of skill adoption and workforce development needs, allocate resources, and give individuals opportunities for deliberate skill practice.

Continuous Quality Improvement

Lyssn’s QI platform provides over 75 metrics, ranging from general evaluations of empathy and active listening to measuring the outcomes of evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Suicide Prevention methods. Evaluations are consistent, personalized to the provider, and enhance dialogues with supervisors with more data and context.

Lyssn’s QI solution also includes an AI-powered documentation tool, which helps providers focus on people, not on note taking.

Learn & Practice

Lyssn elevates skill development for child welfare agencies, providing education through unique modules for Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Multicultural Orientation.

Hear From Lyssn Clients

Lyssn is helping Minnesota child welfare agencies address the challenge of finding a fidelity monitoring tool that will support the ongoing implementation of Motivational Interviewing (MI). Ideally, the tool will ensure that federal FFPSA continuous quality improvement and fidelity monitoring requirements are met. Furthermore, the department anticipates that Lyssn will support consistent MI practice skills across staff, improve child welfare practice, provide data to assess practice/review trends, and ultimately to assist the prevention of children from being removed from their families whenever possible.
